The BFL Committee of St Barnabas announced in mid-December that our congregation has been awarded the $25,000.00 grant for which we applied last fall!  Our project is to construct a labyrinth on the church grounds. Lynn Arnold, Kathy O’Connell, Jan Schubring, John Trace, Jan Varady, and Cynthia Wentworth have worked for more than a year to bring the proposal to reality; they offer their thanks especially to Patty Doerr, who helped put the grant into shape for submission, and to Maureen Hagen from the BFL office.

Ground preparation began in late November 2019, and will continue this coming spring.  St Barnabas’ congregation is praying that the opening of the labyrinth will prove a benefit to our community, and the spiritual seekers everywhere in our area, and that our congregation can deepen our spiritual lives through the use and sharing of this tool for growth.
