Ash Wednesday- February 26, 2020- will mark the beginning of the season of Lent. This quiet season helps to prepare Christians for the celebration of Easter later in the Spring.

St. Barnabas will once again provide ashes to anyone who wishes to receive them at the MDOT Park-n-Ride at I-94 and M52 (Main St).

People will be invited to reflect and renew their faith, and receive ashes as a sign of their commitment to do so. Ashes will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Park-n-Ride,  and also at 7:00 p.m. at St Barnabas Episcopal Church, 20500 Old US 12 in Chelsea.
